Maria Farantouri – Alkinoos Ioannidis at the Herod Atticus Theater

Two great singers from different generations join forces in a musical tribute celebrating the 100th birthday of poet Nikos Gatsos at the theater under the Acropolis.

The concert, a benefit for the KETHEA /Nostos drug treatment program,  will include songs by Greek composers such as Manos Hadjidakis, Mikis Theodorakis, Stavros Xarchakos, Dimou Moutsi, Christodoulou Halari and Alkinoos Ioannidis honoring the poetic grandeur of Gatsos.
