Description: The City of Athens Music Ensembles Symphony Orchestra presents a Festive Opera Gala as part of Athens Carnival 2009 events. The Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Michalis Economou, will perform works by: G. Verdi, G. Puccini, P. Mascagni, J. Strauss, P.I. Tchaikovsky, J.Sr. Strauss. Soloists: Eleni Stamidou, soprano; Antonis Koroneos, tenor. Free admission.
